FAQ

  • What about treats?
Again, discuss with your veterinarian and make sure they are of a high quality. We have actually found that even just using a piece of kibble works. It's all in the presentation!
  • What do you recommend for grooming?
While non-shedding dogs are wonderful, they do require different grooming. Brushing the coat 2-3 times a week will keep their coat tidy and reduce matting. Brush with the direction of growth. Bathing can occur monthly or as needed. For trims it's all about the look you would like to have. This can be done every six weeks or every six months as long as you brush regularly.
  • What kind of food should we buy?
We feed Nutrena Loyall Life Puppy Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe. We have found this to be a high-quality puppy food at a reasonable price point. You can visit their website at www.nutrenaworld.com to learn more or to find a retailer in your area. We also like the Purina ProPlan line of puppy food and encourage customers to discuss with their veterinarian as well.
  • Why don't you do the training?
Years of conversations with customers have told us that every household is different. We find that training is something that should be customized to each individual puppy for each individual family. Because we wait until the age of 10 weeks for our puppies to go home, they are at a great place in their maturity to pick up training quickly.
  • Can we come visit?
Yes! We encourage visitors to meet our puppies (and us). Contact us for an appointment.
  • Do you offer training?
For an additional fee, our flight nanny can provide crate training and potty training. Contact us for more information.
